The history of this very famous shoe brand began in 1920 by Adi (Adolf) Dassler in his mother's laundry room. At that time Adi Dassler made a small project by making sports shoes. Due to the high quality of shoes it produces, eventually the small business begins to fruition. In 1924, Adi Dassler and his brother Rudolf Dassler founded "Dassler Brothers OGH" which later became the forerunner of Adidas now.

Adi Dassler's commitment to quality brings Dassler Brothers as a high-quality shoe manufacturer, so often used by legendary athletes of the day for the Olympics. The highlight of the Dassler Brothers' shoes was when Jesse Owen became the most successful athlete of the Berlin Olympics in 1936 by wearing Dassler shoes.In 1948, Adi and Rudolf decided to split up and each made their own shoe brand. Rudolf makes the brand 'Puma' while Adi makes the brand 'Adidas.' Adidas name picking comes from the name Adi Dassler by combining Adi's first name and a syllable of Dassler's last name 'das' so that it becomes the word 'Adidas'. Just the information that Adi Dassler's real name is Adolf Dassler, but the Germans often call the name Adolf as Adi. The use of Adidas logo itself was only used in about 1948, when the two Dassler brothers are separated. Visually, Adidas logo is only Adidas letters, with Adolf Dassler's name on it and a shoe illustration in the middle. With this brand, Adi Dassler's shoes have reached the point of success, with Adidas brand shoes recognized diajang world sporting parties such as the Olympic Helsinki, Melbourne, Rome and others. In 1972, Adidas logo changed by using the concept of 'Trefoil Logo', which is a logo with visual three leaves strung. This three-leaf concept has a symbolic meaning of the Olympic spirit that connects on three continents. From then on Adidas became the official shoes that are used at the Olympic events worldwide.

Finally after years of triumph and experiencing the intricacies of business development, in 1996, Adidas modernized by applying the concept of 'We know then - we know now' which more or less describes the success of the past and glory until now. The new logo is used visually in the form of three sloping beams that form a slope depicting strength, endurance and the future. Since then the Adidas logo has never changed, and it still prevails to this day.
